I would love to be able to add custom search parameters to the Adobe Device Central CS4/5 ... right now carrier, color depth, flash lite version, etc ... are supported ... but there are *many* parameters myself and others would like to search across ... the way it would work is either configuring an XML file, or being able to hit the enter key in the search dialog in ADC and type in a custom search parameter ... there might be some mapping that needs to be done, so it nows where to search ... For instance, I'd love to be able to search on series 5th edition nokia devices, but currently can't do that ... with a new search, I'd either configure an XML file, or bring up a menu to hook up a keyword to a search parameter.

In my mobile workflow, I like having device central cs4 always open when testing ... however, I noticed that it always "steals focus" under windows, such that if I jump to another window, but device central spits out a bg trace() statement it makes device central cs4 focal ... it's very annoying when jumping around in CS4 apps, as often times I'll be working in actionscript and then dc window will put up, or vice versa and accidently copy code into my flash app.

please make an option to shutoff "refocus" mode in device central, so workflow can be improved. if it can be done currently, let me know how (besides turning off/toggling trace statements consistently). The later wouldn't be that bad, if only it were a short cut or persistent setting on dc somewhere easily accessible during testing (not shuffled away on a menu someplace).

Not sure if this problem appears under Mac, haven't tested how windows react there.

It's possible to modify device profiles by editing XML files, etc... however, it would be useful if one could edit device profiles inline in ADC ... meaning, if a device update happens for Device X, and there's no new profile (yet) ... I could maybe copy an existing profile within ADC, and then modify the device profile inline without going external to change a Flash Lite version setting, etc. Maybe have an "edit" button so that a new template could be added? Of course this runs into the possbility of someone f'ing up a device profile ... so maybe there is some sort of permission or maybe original device profiles cannot be modifed, but merely duplicated and then new ones modified created by user ... just thoughts ...
